Stacking Rings; the series concept.
These rings consist of multiple bands that are worn together as a group. Each band can be in any precious metal. The two outer bands are usually smoothly finished in various cross sectional shapes and form 'book-ends' to the rest of the group. The central bands can be textured, smooth or patterned.
Stacking Rings; Single-stone versions:
These are collections of bands with a single stone either on the central band or offset to one side. It could be an unusual cabochon cut stone or a faceted stone with a setting to enhance it.
